Koshiro trudged along through the foresty area of the northern alps, having not left the territory yet. The day was coming to an end, the fall weather much more harsh as the sun went down and was replaced by the moon. He had been here a few days now, he and his band of canines simply enjoying the rest and relaxation. He had not seen that white bear again, thinking that that was a good thing however. It hadn't seemed all that aggressive, but Koshiro did not want to push his luck and go looking for trouble (though in the end it always seemed like that was exactly what he did).

He hoped a walk would clear his thoughts as lately he had been thinking more and more about his father. Did he really think Joe was alive? Or had it only been the wishes of the naive puppy that he was when he left Ohu in search of him? The thought pained Koshiro, it was not something he liked to think about. He felt his eyes sting as small tears formed in the corner of his eyes, the chilly weather making his eyes only feel cold and sting further.
